SkillSaathiyo is an assessment you take and a report that belongs to you. This page says plainly what we collect, where it is kept, who can see it, and how you delete it.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, college, course and year of study — given by you at signup.
- A photo of your college ID, if you upload one. It is optional and it never blocks the assessment.
- Your answers to the 50 assessment questions, and the report generated from them.
- A record of your payment from Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI ID or bank details.
- Basic technical logs. These never contain your name, phone, email, date of birth or answers.
Why we collect it
To create your account, confirm your payment, score your assessment, produce your report and certificate, and send them to you. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is kept
In Google Cloud regions in India (asia-south1) — the database, the file storage and the servers that run the assessment. Keeping your data in India is a requirement of this product, not a preference.
Who can see it
- You. Your report and your exact scores appear only in your own signed-in account and in its PDF.
- Your college does not receive your report or your scores, and no employer sees them unless you send them yourself.
- A public certificate page shows only your name, profile type, readiness level, issue date and validity — never your scores.
- A small SkillSaathiyo team can look up your account to fix a payment or review an ID photo. Every such action is recorded.
Services we use
Google Firebase for sign-in, database and file storage. Razorpay for payments. Google Gemini to score written answers and to draft the narrative parts of your report. Your answers are sent to Gemini for that purpose and are not used to train it.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your profile, your answers, your reports and any ID photo you uploaded. We keep only the minimal financial record the law requires.
Your choices
- Delete your account, and everything above goes with it.
- Skip the college ID upload. It only gates features that are not built yet.
- Keep your report private. Sharing is off by default, and a shared card never carries your scores.
Age
SkillSaathiyo is for people aged 18 and over. If you tell us you are under 18 at signup, no account is created.
